LET'S MAKE A SCENE ,like the movies in our dreams she said before hurrying back to her locker. she opened it and stuffed her books in there, making sure to stack them up nicely before shutting it closed and taking a look around. there were people around the hall, but none of them were really people that she could be seen with. a sigh escaped her lips before she walked out the door. it was windy outside, but the sun was up. she pulled her sweater tightly around her, although she wasn't too cold. it was actually perfect weather. charlotte continued walking till she reached the courtyard, she hadn't thought of any other place since she was trying not to let her thoughts get control of her. which resulted in her not thinking about her insecurities, but at the same time it stopped her from figuring out what she was going to do now. usually a friend would skip, but skipping too much was not acceptable. well at least that's what they said now, of course charlotte knew that most of them just didn't want her to talk them into doing something embarrasing... that or they just stopped liking her now. charlotte shuddered at the thought, although she felt like she didn't belong that didn't mean she didn't want to try fitting in even more. it might have looked like she did but it took way more work than that. sudden;y charlotte felt her knees burning, she had been standing in one position for too long and it was taking it's toll on her. she quickly took a seat on one of the benches, letting her legs spread out in front of her and on top of the seat. there were other benches so she didn't have to worry about someone bothering her. of course you never know. charlotte closed her eyes, letting her mind wander of but making sure it didn't wander of to that touchy subject. she knew that he would be stressing about it for days, if she went back to that subject, it amazed her that after getting over it for a while she always had to think about how bland she was, and at the same time act as if she though she was the best girl around. it was hard, not as hard as when she lost her father, but hard none the less. she breathed in deeply and held her breath in for as long as she could. charlotte just wanted to go away to her own place where no one could bother her, even if for just a second. no she didn't mean she wanted to be alone, her body was alone but not her mind. she tried and tried and it was starting to work until she heard a noise. at first it wasn't really audible, just a small sound but after a while charlotte heard it again until she realized it was a cough. she was sure it wasn't a fake cough, those were loud, which meant that someone was here and for once they weren't trying to get her attention but they did notice her, charlotte was sure of it. after all charlotte wasn't too hard to notice. she waited a few seconds before opening her eyes and turning her head to look at the person who was here. tags: anyone words: 990 without coding status: yepyep clothes: clothes.notes: ahh too long xD i don't normally post this much lol banner credit: THE LUCY SOUND ?! Reece had free period and he had nothing to do. He had persuaded Demi to go to class and so she was getting work done which left him with nothing to do and rather tired. Reece loved spending time with Demi, of course he did she was his best friend but at the moment it was taking a lot out of him. He was always on edge making sure she was ok and feeling safe. He felt a lot more relaxed now she was staying at his own house where he would be if she ever needed anything but just the idea of someone hurting his best friend made him angry and sad.
Reece walked to his locker deciding to dump his bags, grab his guitar and head to the courtyard. He twisted the lock precisely getting it right first time and then throwing his books into the jumbled pile, all the books were scattered on top of each other, well all except his English folder which sat preciously on the top shelf. His converses squeaked as he walked across the floor towards the music room. He hardly entered the room as he grabbed his guitar from just inside the room. He put the strap around himself so the guitar fell to his back. Reece continued to walk down the corridor towards the courtyard.
He coughed as he entered the open space, he wasn’t feeling too well. He continued to cough as he walked across the courtyard towards the tree that he usually sat under and played. He noticed a few people sitting around and he scanned them wondering if they would mind him playing softly. He was focused on a little freshman as he approached a bench. This coughing hadn’t yet subsided and it had drawn attention to the young basketball player. “hi” he said meekly to the girl as she looked up at him.

LET'S MAKE A SCENE ,like the movies in our dreams she thought with a scowl. it was so stupid that someone like charlotte could think that she was the worst looking girl ever, some would never believe her, they would think that she just said things like that because she wanted them to feel worse about themselves. after all if even the queen of perfection hated herself, then what would that mean for them. yet those thoughts never crossed her mind, sure charlotte cared about what others though but about her not themselves. her gaze moved to the sky, which was getting cloudier by the minute. charlotte knew it would happen, it was winter and it being hot for one day, or even a few mere hours didn't mean that it would last for long. luckily for her, charlotte's jacket was warm enough and she actually enjoyed the cold too much too care that the wind was picking up even more and her hair was now blowing into her face. she moved her hand to her face and gentle moved her hair away, which caused more hair to fall on her face. a small giggle escaped her lips, not because she found it funny but because she had actually stopped thinking about herself for one second. not too funny but charlotte could find the most trivial things funny for some odd reason. strange seeing as her whole world revolved around trivial things and she was rarely seen laughing. when her eyes landed on the boy who had interrupted her, a smile actually appeared on her face. at least it wasn't one of her friends coming to tell her that they wanted to go shopping or some shit like that. she was honestly fed up with seeing clothes everyday. yes shocker for a girl that had a bigger wardrobe than madonna. she almost laughed when she heard his hi, it didn't sound like a hi that a boy her age would have said, so it was obvious not just by his appearance, that this boy was much younger than her. "hello"she said in a light dainty voice, as she moved forward, and let her feet his the ground so that she was now currently sitting upright. thoughts of being bitchy did not cross her mind and she actually welcome someone's company, as long as that someone wasn't someone that would annoy her. tags: reece words: 476 without coding status: yepyep clothes: clothes.notes: don't worry i don't think i would have been able to post as much anyways (: i made it shorter though so neither of us would have to post too much. banner credit: THE LUCY SOUND ?! Reece looked at the girl, trying to remember who she was. Charlotte was the name that came to the young boys head, she was an elite, someone to be wary around. Reece had a crush on Demi but he couldn’t help noticing that the girl in front of him was pretty, actually that was putting it too lightly, she was gorgeous. Reece had found that it was the prettiest girls that worried about their looks. He heard her giggle and it made him smile, it was so light and carefree. Reece loved spending time with Demi but hearing that girls laugh made the boy smile, something he hadn’t done for quite a while.
“I’m Reece” he said introducing himself to the girl. Reece wasn’t very well known. Sure he was one of the major players on the basketball team but he was also only sixteen which made him not very well known. Reece scored many points in the basketball games but the recognition for him was low, Reece didn’t mind, he just worked hard because he wanted Captain when he was old enough to receive it.
Reece like being outside, sure it was cold and windy but Reece didn’t mind. It was nice to feel the wind blow across his face and he wasn’t too bothered about it pushing his hair around. He ran this hand through his hair, trying to regain some of its usual shape. That was one problem with floppy hair, it messed up easily and unlike girls he couldn’t just tie or clip it up. Reece knew he had to be careful around Charlotte. The Elites held all the power in the school and she could easily turn everyone against him. Reece was just a Jock, not a really low status but lower than hers that was for sure. Reece knew that there were nice Elites though, Demi was an Elite for god sakes and her status didn’t affect their friendship. Demi and Reece were as close as, well, something close!
